This is an Oni Mask on top of the Japanese flag to emphasise this design is based off Japanese mythology. An Oni is a demon from Japan who has sharp fangs for teeth and horns on its head. The mask is in a dark shade of red demonstrating the wicked nature of the Oni.
Onis have been depicted in traditional Japanese art. The style I employed was a modern take instead of the older aesthetic from Japanese history.
